The aFe Takeda Pro 5R replacement air filter (TF-9027R) is a high-flow, oiled conical filter designed to maximize airflow for increased horsepower and torque. This filter utilizes five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media to capture contaminants without restricting engine breathing. The Pro 5R media is fully washable and reusable, featuring tall, evenly spaced pleats that provide a high dust-holding capacity and longer service intervals.
Constructed with a 100% polyurethane base and top, this filter is built to withstand engine bay heat and chemical exposure. The inverted top design (INV) increases the available filter surface area, further improving flow efficiency. A pliable polyurethane flange with integrated bumps ensures a secure, leak-free seal over the life of the filter.
