The aFe Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System is engineered to optimize airflow and improve volumetric efficiency for your turbocharged Subaru WRX. This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow, 3-inch mandrel-bent intake tube finished in a durable wrinkle-black powder coating. By smoothing the intake path to the turbocharger, this kit provides a direct increase in horsepower and torque response.

To ensure consistent performance, the kit features a CAD-designed, red cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) intake scoop that captures cool ambient air from the front of the vehicle. An included ABS plastic heat shield further protects the intake charge from engine bay heat soak. The system utilizes a Pro 5R performance air filter, featuring five layers of progressively finer mesh oiled cotton media for maximum filtration and flow.
