The Takeda Stage-2 Pro 5R Intake System is designed to maximize airflow and performance for the EJ257-powered WRX STI. This system replaces the restrictive factory air box with a high-flow Pro 5R filter and dual mandrel-bent tubing to optimize air velocity into the turbocharger. The included one-piece powder-coated heat shield effectively isolates the air filter from hot engine bay air, ensuring cooler, denser intake charges for more consistent power.
- Performance gains: up to +9 HP and +9 lbs. x ft. of torque over stock
- Outflows factory intake system by 24%
- Pro 5R filter media: 5-layer progressively finer oiled cotton gauze for maximum flow and protection
- Mandrel-bent dual tubing maintains consistent internal diameters for smooth airflow
