Upgrade your Mazda's breathing with the aFe Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System. This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-performance open-element setup designed for maximum airflow and thermal efficiency. The one-piece housing is rotomolded from heat-resistant XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) and engineered to seal against the vehicle hood, creating a cool-air chamber that isolates the filter from engine bay heat. This design utilizes the factory OE air inlet and includes an optional auxiliary inlet to maximize air volume under load.
At the heart of this system is the Pro DRY S air filter, featuring three layers of progressive synthetic media. This oil-free design offers the ultimate in convenience, providing high filtration efficiency and airflow while remaining fully washable and reusable. Installation is straightforward, using factory mounting points and requiring no cutting or drilling.
