The AIRAID Cold Air Dam (CAD) Air Intake System is engineered to maximize airflow and optimize performance by replacing the restrictive factory air box. This system features specialized CAD panels that create a spacious open-element inlet, effectively isolating the filter from engine heat by sealing against the underside of the hood with blade-style weather stripping. By drawing in cooler, denser outside air, this intake helps improve horsepower and torque across the RPM range.
At the core of this system is a 360-degree conical AIRAID Premium Filter using yellow synthetic dry media. This washable and reusable filter provides high-flow performance without the need for oiling, making maintenance simple and cost-effective. The kit includes a specifically designed intake tube to maintain laminar flow and ensures a straightforward installation using common hand tools.
