The Airaid Cold Air Dam (CAD) Performance Air Intake System is engineered to increase airflow and optimize power delivery. By replacing the restrictive factory intake with a high-flow open-element inlet, this system improves throttle response and maximizes horsepower and torque. The CAD panels utilize blade-style weather stripping to seal against the underside of the hood, effectively isolating the air filter from hot engine compartment air to ensure a cooler, denser intake charge.
- Premium Filtration: Includes a 360-degree conical AIRAID Premium Filter with washable and reusable oiled media for long-term durability and consistent performance.
- Heat Isolation: Cold Air Dam panels protect the intake from engine heat soak by utilizing the factory airbox location and sealing to the hood.
- Simple Installation: Designed to bolt on using common hand tools; retains the factory filter location for a straightforward upgrade.
