The AIRAID MXP Series Air Intake System is engineered to address the restrictions of factory induction systems, delivering improved airflow and acceleration for the 5.0L Coyote engine. The system begins with a one-piece roto-molded air box designed to shield the intake from engine heat while housing a premium AIRAID air filter for superior filtration and flow capacity.
Air is channeled through a computer-modeled intake tube constructed from cross-linked, high-density polyethylene (HDPE). This precision-engineered tube maintains accurate mass air flow (MAF) sensor readings and factory air-to-fuel ratios, ensuring enhanced performance without the immediate requirement for a computer recalibration or aftermarket tune. Designed for a straightforward bolt-on installation, this system utilizes existing mounting points and commonly available hand tools.
