The Airaid MXP Series Cold Air Intake System (MPN: 453-204) is engineered to optimize airflow and performance for high-performance applications. This system features a one-piece roto-molded air box designed to replace the restrictive factory housing, paired with a cross-linked, high-density polyethylene (XLPE) intake tube. The tube utilizes extensive computer modeling to maintain precise mass air flow (MAF) readings and factory calibration, ensuring consistent air-to-fuel ratios without the need for immediate engine tuning.
Included in the assembly is an Airaid premium dry synthetic filter with blue media, providing superior filtration and high-volume airflow. Many MXP systems also integrate a built-in velocity stack to further streamline air induction. The system is designed for a straightforward installation using standard hand tools and replaces the entire factory induction tract from the air box to the throttle body.
