The AMP Research PowerStep (MPN 76151-01A) is an automatic, electric-powered running board that instantly extends when you open your door and retracts safely out of sight when the doors close. This design significantly improves ground clearance and aerodynamics while providing a convenient, sturdy step for entering and exiting your truck. The Plug-and-Play system connects directly to the factory OBD-II port, making the electrical installation straightforward and reliable without the need for complex wiring.
Built for all-weather performance, the PowerStep is constructed from high-strength, die-cast aluminum alloy components with an anodized and PTFE-coated finish for maximum corrosion resistance. Precision stainless steel pivot pins ensure long-term stability and smooth operation under heavy use. This system also features integrated LED lighting to illuminate the stepping surface in dark conditions.
