The AMS Performance Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) Kit for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX is engineered to eliminate heat soak and maintain maximum power output during high-load scenarios like drag racing, airstrip pulls, or spirited driving in hot climates. By relocating the intercooler to the front bumper opening, this kit ensures a consistent supply of ambient air reaches the FA20 engine's intake tract for lower charge air temperatures.
Constructed with durability and flow in mind, this kit features cast aluminum end tanks and a massive 28.5-inch wide core designed to utilize the entire front bumper opening for maximum airflow. Every unit is hand TIG welded and pressure tested to ensure a leak-free seal under high boost. The included bumper beam allows for a secure installation while maintaining the structural requirements for the intercooler mounting points.
