The ARB RD142 Air Locker provides 100% traction on demand, allowing you to lock your differential with the flip of a switch. This pneumatically operated system replaces the internal differential gears to prevent the axle shafts from turning independently, ensuring both wheels maintain maximum rotation regardless of ground contact. When disengaged, it functions as a standard open differential, preserving factory on-road drivability and reducing driveline wear.
Engineered for the toughest off-road conditions, the RD142 features a high-strength two-piece design with minimal moving parts for maximum reliability. The patented timed locking mechanism ensures rapid engagement and ultra-fast unlocking. This unit is built with a steel-reinforced, elastomer-bonded annular seal designed to withstand extreme temperature fluctuations.
