The Old Man Emu BP-51 shock absorber brings race-proven bypass technology to your daily driver or overlanding rig. Unlike traditional shock absorbers where damping is strictly speed-dependent, the BP-51 (Bypass 51mm diameter bore) uses internal bypass ports to provide position-sensitive damping. This allows the suspension to remain plush during normal travel while significantly increasing damping force as it approaches the end of the stroke to prevent bottoming out. Each coilover is engineered with application-specific X5K grade steel coils and is fully adjustable while mounted on the vehicle.
