The ARP Head Stud Kit (201-4304) is an essential upgrade for engine builds requiring superior clamping force and reliability. Unlike factory torque-to-yield (TTY) bolts that stretch during installation and must be discarded after one use, these premium studs provide a more accurate torque loading on the cylinder head. This prevents head lift and gasket failure, particularly in high-compression or turbocharged applications where cylinder pressures exceed stock limits.
Manufactured to exacting tolerances, each kit includes high-strength studs, precision-machined parallel ground washers, and 12-point nuts. This hardware ensures even distribution of clamping force across the deck surface, protecting the engine block threads while facilitating easier cylinder head removal and reinstallation.
