This ARP Torque Converter Bolt Kit (MPN 230-7304) is designed for GM 200, 700R4, 4L60, and 4L80 automatic transmissions. When upgrading a drivetrain or installing a high-stall converter, the fasteners connecting the flexplate to the torque converter become a critical failure point. Standard grade-8 hardware can stretch or shear under high-torque loads; ARP solves this by using premium 8740 chromoly steel.
Each bolt is heat-treated to a 200,000 psi tensile strength and features a black oxide finish for long-term corrosion resistance. These fasteners are precision-machined to ensure consistent clamping force and prevent loosening caused by vibration or thermal expansion. This kit provides a significant safety and reliability upgrade over factory OE hardware.
