The ARP 202-4201 12pt Head Stud Kit is a vital upgrade for maintaining cylinder head integrity on the Nissan L20 engine. Unlike factory head bolts that are designed to stretch once and be replaced, these ARP studs are manufactured from high-strength material to provide consistent, uniform clamping force. This prevents head lift and gasket failure, making them essential for both stock rebuilds and performance applications.
Each stud is centerless ground and thread-rolled after heat-treatment to ensure maximum fatigue strength. The 12-point nut design provides a compact profile for better tool clearance and more precise torque application compared to traditional hex-head fasteners.
