When pushing the limits of the VR38 engine, maintaining a reliable head-to-block seal is critical to engine longevity. This ARP Custom Age 625 Plus (CA625+) head stud kit provides the extreme clamping force necessary to prevent head gasket failure and head lifting in high-horsepower, high-boost applications. These studs are a direct upgrade over factory head bolts, offering significantly higher tensile strength than standard 8740 chrome moly fasteners.
