Engineered to exceed the requirements of high-performance builds, the ARP 165-5401 Main Stud Kit provides the clamping force necessary to prevent main cap walk and stabilize the rotating assembly. Manufactured from premium 8740 chrome moly steel, these fasteners are heat-treated to a 200,000 psi tensile strength, offering a significant upgrade over factory bolts that are prone to stretching under high-load conditions.
Every ARP stud is centerless ground to ensure perfect concentricity and features threads rolled after heat treatment for superior fatigue strength. This kit allows for more accurate and consistent torque loading during assembly, protecting your engine block's threads from excessive wear while ensuring a reliable seal.
