The AWE Track Edition Exhaust is designed for GTI owners who want an aggressive, raw exhaust note without compromise. Handcrafted from U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel, this system features a straight-through design that maximizes flow and performance. By retaining the mid-pipe resonator but omitting AWE’s 180 Technology® drone-canceling resonators found in the Touring Edition, the Track Edition delivers a deep, rowdy tone across the entire RPM range.

This system utilizes 3-inch and 2.25-inch CNC mandrel-bent piping with .065-inch wall thickness for maximum durability. It finishes with dual 5-inch double-walled slash-cut tips in Diamond Black. These tips are individually adjustable, allowing you to set the depth into the rear bumper to your preference. Because this is the loudest configuration available for the MK8 GTI, it is recommended for those who prefer high-volume output; if sound preferences change, it can be converted to a Touring Edition later using an AWE conversion kit.
