Fits 2003-2004 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 models equipped with the 5.9L Cummins (235-305 HP engines). This kit does not fit 2004.5-2007 Cummins 325/600 engines.
Under high-boost conditions, the stock wastegate actuator's weak spring often allows the valve to blow off its seat prematurely. This premature opening bleeds off pressure, softening mid-range boost and killing torque. The Banks Power BigHead Wastegate Actuator (MPN: 24331) solves this by utilizing twice the diaphragm area and significantly higher spring pressure than the factory unit. This design keeps the wastegate seated longer to achieve higher peak boost sooner, then provides precise control to maintain that boost for crisp acceleration and superior pulling power.
