The Banks Power Ram-Air Intake System (MPN 42260) is designed to replace the restrictive factory air box and intake tract to improve airflow, power, and efficiency. By providing a more direct, high-volume path for cool air to reach the engine, this system reduces pumping losses and helps the engine run cooler. This specific kit includes a silencer delete tube that replaces the baffled OE tube to further optimize airflow and provide a more authentic engine note.
The system features an oversized, high-flow oiled filter that maximizes filtration area while extending service life between cleanings. Designed for long-term use, the filter is fully washable and reusable. The enclosed housing design shields the intake from heat soak, ensuring a denser air charge for the turbocharger.
