The Bilstein B8 5160 series (MPN: 25-312164) is a remote reservoir shock absorber engineered as a direct-fit solution for lifted G-Class SUVs. By separating the oil and gas into an external reservoir, this shock provides significantly increased oil capacity and heat dissipation compared to traditional designs. This ensures consistent, fade-free damping performance during high-intensity off-road use and improves overall wheel travel for better articulation.
- 46mm monotube design maintains consistent performance in harsh environments
- Remote reservoir increases oil volume for superior cooling and heat dissipation
- 360-degree swivel banjo hose fitting allows for a clean, low-profile installation
