The Bilstein B8 5100 series (part number 24-302326) is a gas-pressurized monotube shock absorber engineered as a direct-fit solution for trucks with moderate rear lifts. Featuring a large 46mm piston, the monotube design provides superior heat dissipation compared to traditional twin-tube shocks, ensuring consistent, fade-free damping performance even during heavy hauling or off-road use.
These shock absorbers utilize Bilstein’s patented velocity-sensitive digressive valving, which reacts instantly to changing surface conditions to maintain vehicle stability.
