The Bilstein B8 5100 shock absorber is engineered as a direct-fit solution for lifted 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ models. Featuring a high-pressure nitrogen gas monotube design, this shock provides consistent, fade-free performance even under demanding off-road conditions. The 46mm bore allows for rapid heat dissipation and greater damping control compared to traditional twin-tube designs.
Every B8 5100 is equipped with Bilstein's patented velocity-sensitive, digressive valving. This system reacts instantly to changing road or trail surfaces to maintain vehicle stability and comfort. Each shock is specifically tuned for the Jeep Wrangler application to ensure optimal handling and ride quality on and off the pavement.
