The Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorber is a high-performance leveling solution designed specifically for trucks with front OE coilover-style suspension. By utilizing multiple snap-ring grooves in the shock body, this unit allows for various spring seat positions, providing between 0 and 2.75 inches of front lift when paired with original equipment springs. This is a superior alternative to basic coil spacers, maintaining proper suspension geometry and performance.
Engineered with a 46mm monotube design, these shocks deliver consistent, fade-free performance across varying terrain. The digressive piston and self-adjusting deflective disc valving allow the shock to react instantly to road inputs, resulting in increased wheel travel and significantly improved handling characteristics. Each unit is finished in a durable zinc plating to resist corrosion in harsh environments.
