The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus suspension strut is a monotube gas-pressure damper specifically engineered to be paired with aftermarket lowering springs. While standard dampers can bottom out or lose damping control when the ride height is reduced, the B8 series features application-specific valving and a shortened stroke to maintain optimal suspension travel and handling performance. This front left strut assembly provides a significant upgrade over OE dampers, delivering a sportier feel and improved chassis control without sacrificing daily driving comfort.
