The Bilstein B8 5160 remote reservoir shock absorber is engineered as a direct-fit upgrade for 2019-2023 Ford Ranger Lariat, XL, and XLT models with 0-2 inches of rear lift. By utilizing a remote reservoir, this setup significantly increases oil capacity, providing superior heat dissipation and preventing performance fade during sustained off-road use in harsh environments.
Each shock features a 46mm monotube design with velocity-sensitive digressive valving, specifically tuned to the Ranger chassis for immediate reaction to surface changes. The design is finished with a 360-degree swivel banjo hose fitting and includes a billet reservoir mount for a clean, low-profile installation that clears factory components while maximizing wheel travel.
