The Bilstein B12 (Pro-Kit) suspension system is a comprehensive performance upgrade designed to enhance the handling dynamics and stance of the BMW E31 chassis. This kit replaces the factory struts and shocks with high-pressure Bilstein Performance dampers specifically valved for this application, paired with Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs. The result is a significantly more responsive driving experience with reduced body roll and a lower center of gravity without sacrificing daily drivability.
By utilizing Eibach progressive spring characteristics, the B12 kit maintains road-compliant comfort during normal cruising while providing increased stiffness under heavy cornering loads. This precision-engineered combination provides a fixed-height lowering solution that eliminates the guesswork of matching individual dampers and springs.
