The Bilstein B6 46mm monotube shock absorber is engineered as a performance upgrade for stock height vehicles. Designed to replace worn OE dampers, these shocks provide improved handling, stability, and comfort without sacrificing ride quality. The high-pressure gas monotube design allows for a larger piston area than twin-tube alternatives, providing more consistent, fade-free damping performance even under heavy loads or demanding road conditions.
This front shock utilizes Bilstein's unique velocity-sensitive, digressive piston technology. This specialized valving reacts instantly to changing road surfaces, increasing damping force for better control during cornering while remaining compliant over high-speed impacts. Each unit is application-specific tuned for the Chevrolet C4500 Kodiak chassis to ensure optimal suspension control.
