The Bilstein B6 4600 Series is engineered as a high-performance direct-fit upgrade for stock-height SUVs and light trucks. Featuring a 46mm monotube gas-pressure design, these shock absorbers provide superior heat dissipation and consistent, fade-free performance that remains stable even under heavy loads or frequent towing. Unlike traditional twin-tube shocks, the monotube construction prevents aeration and oil foaming for more precise control.
Each B6 4600 is application-tuned to the Ford Excursion chassis, utilizing a unique velocity-sensitive digressive piston. This valving technology reacts instantly to changing road conditions, providing firm control when you need it and a comfortable ride during cruising. These shocks are designed to install into factory mounting points and are fully compatible with OEM springs and hardware.
