The Bilstein B6 4600 is engineered as a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Ford Ranger rear suspension. Utilizing a large 46mm bore monotube design, these shocks provide superior heat dissipation and consistent, fade-free damping performance even under heavy loads or demanding road conditions. Unlike standard twin-tube shocks, the monotube construction allows for a larger piston area and more precise valving control.
Each shock features a unique velocity-sensitive, digressive piston that instantly adapts to changing surfaces, improving tire contact and overall vehicle stability. These units are specifically tuned for the Ford Ranger chassis to enhance ride quality, handling, and comfort without sacrificing towing or hauling capacity.
