The Bilstein B6 Steering Damper (24-245975) is engineered as a performance upgrade over factory steering stabilizers, specifically for heavy-duty chassis applications. Utilizing Bilstein's signature gas-pressure monotube design, this damper effectively absorbs minute steering movements and reduces the vibrations and shimmy that often occur in motorhome and van chassis. This results in significantly improved handling, straight-line tracking, and driver comfort.
Each unit features vehicle-specific ride tuning to ensure optimal control under various load conditions. The damper is finished in classic Bilstein yellow for long-lasting corrosion resistance and matches other B6 series suspension components.
