The Bilstein B6 (HD) Series front shock absorber is a performance upgrade engineered to improve the handling and stability of heavy-duty chassis. Designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for stock-height vehicles, this 46mm monotube damper provides the consistent, fade-free performance required for the demands of motorhome applications. By replacing worn factory units, these shocks restore ride quality and significantly reduce body roll and wallowing.
Equipped with a velocity-sensitive, digressive piston, the B6 reacts instantly to changing road conditions. The monotube gas-pressure design allows for rapid heat dissipation, preventing oil aeration and ensuring the damping force remains stable even during extended travel on rough surfaces. This application-specific tuning ensures optimal control for the Freightliner and Oshkosh X-Line platform.
