The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus damper is a performance-focused upgrade for your vintage BMW chassis, specifically engineered to be paired with aftermarket lowering springs. Unlike standard dampers, these feature a shortened piston rod and application-specific valve settings to maintain the proper preload of the spring and optimize the handling characteristics of a lowered vehicle. The 46mm monotube design provides a larger piston surface area for more consistent damping force and superior heat dissipation during spirited driving.
