The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus strut is a high-pressure gas monotube damper specifically engineered as a performance upgrade for vehicles equipped with aftermarket lowering springs. While standard dampers can struggle with the altered geometry of a lowered vehicle, the B8 series utilizes application-specific valve settings and a design optimized for shorter springs to provide superior handling, increased safety, and a more connected driving experience.
