The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus damper is a high-pressure monotube gas strut engineered for the front right position. Unlike standard dampers, the B8 series is specifically designed and valved to be paired with aftermarket lowering springs or factory sport suspensions. This ensures the strut operates within its optimal stroke range, providing improved handling and a sportier feel while maintaining ride comfort on the Subaru VA chassis.
- Monotube Design: Features a larger piston area for superior damping control and more efficient heat dissipation.
- Performance Tuning: Application-specific valving tested to meet or exceed OE standards for the WRX and STI.
- Lowered Suspension Ready: Optimized piston rod length specifically for use with lowering spring sets.
