The Bilstein B8 5165 Remote Reservoir Shock Absorber is engineered for custom off-road applications where consistent damping and increased wheel travel are paramount. Designed for light trucks and SUVs, these high-pressure monotube shocks utilize a remote reservoir to significantly increase oil capacity, ensuring superior heat dissipation and fade-free performance during sustained off-road use.
Each shock features a 46mm monotube piston and self-adjusting deflective disc valving that reacts instantly to terrain changes. For versatile mounting, the 25-331769 includes 5/8-inch eyelets with hourglass bushings on both ends and a 360-degree swivel banjo hose fitting for a low-profile, clean installation on custom chassis or suspension setups.
