The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus damper is specifically engineered for drivers who have lowered their BMW using aftermarket lowering springs or are equipped with factory sport suspensions. Unlike standard shocks that can bottom out or wear prematurely when the ride height is reduced, the B8 is shortened to maintain the proper piston travel and damping stroke. This ensures your suspension operates within its intended range, providing a sportier feel without sacrificing mechanical safety.
Utilizing high-pressure gas monotube technology, these front shock absorbers deliver consistent damping performance even under heavy loads or aggressive driving. The application-specific valving is tuned to bring out the best handling characteristics of the E70 and E71 chassis, offering a significant increase in stability and steering precision.
