The BLOX Racing BXIM-00105 Thermal Intake Manifold Gasket fits 1993-2001 Honda Prelude models (Base, Type SH, and VTEC).
Designed as a direct replacement for the factory gasket, this thermal barrier significantly reduces the transfer of heat from the cylinder head to the intake manifold. By isolating the manifold from the engine block's heat, it helps maintain cooler intake air temperatures (IATs). Lower air temperatures result in a denser air-fuel charge, which helps prevent heat soak and maintains consistent horsepower during performance driving or high-load conditions.
