The BMC FB487/20 high-performance air filter kit is designed to replace the restrictive factory paper filters in your Ferrari's intake system. This kit provides a significant increase in airflow while maintaining high filtration efficiency to protect the engine from contaminants as small as 7 microns. By utilizing a multi-layered cotton gauze media soaked in low-viscosity oil, these filters allow for a more consistent air delivery to the V12 engine.
Engineered for durability and performance, BMC filters utilize a proprietary "Full Moulding" system that creates the characteristic red filter from a single mold with no welded joints, preventing breakage or deformation. The filtering material is supported by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh, ensuring resistance to fuel vapors and oxidation in high-heat engine environments.
