The BMR KM018R Tubular K-Member is a performance-engineered solution for S197 owners looking to reduce front-end weight, improve structural rigidity, and gain necessary clearance for large-diameter turbo kits or long-tube headers.

Constructed from a combination of 1-inch, 1-1/4-inch, and 1-1/2-inch DOM tubing, this K-member provides a significantly more compact and rigid foundation than the bulky factory unit. The design features integrated engine mounts that replace the heavy OE motor mounts, allowing BMR to utilize thicker mounting plates and larger diameter tubing for superior strength. While the factory K-member and engine mounts weigh in at 46 lbs, the BMR unit weighs only 26 lbs—a direct 20-lb reduction off the nose of the car.
