The BorgWarner EFR 8374 (MPN 179393) is a high-performance turbocharger engineered for professional racing and street use, delivering a balance of rapid boost response and high-end flow. Built on the B2 frame, this unit features a 1.05 A/R twin-scroll turbine housing, ideal for divided exhaust manifolds to maximize pulse energy and minimize lag in 500-800 horsepower applications.
- Gamma-Ti Turbine Wheel: Titanium Aluminide construction significantly reduces rotational inertia for near-instant response.
- Dual Ceramic Ball Bearings: Provides low friction and high durability under extreme thermal loads.
- Forged Milled Wheel (FMW): The compressor wheel is machined from high-strength forged aluminum for increased pressure ratio capability.
- 1.05 A/R Turbine Housing: Stainless steel construction with a Twin Scroll T4 inlet and V-band turbine flange (VTF) outlet.
- Integrated Oil Control: Includes a built-in oil orifice to ensure proper lubrication without the need for external restrictors.
This SuperCore configuration includes the compressor and turbine assembly with the 1.05 A/R stainless steel housing. It is designed for external wastegate setups.
