This universal-fit Borla PRO-XS muffler (MPN 400286) is engineered for high-performance applications requiring a dual 2.50-inch inlet and outlet configuration. It features an integrated internal X-pipe designed to balance exhaust pulses, improving both scavenging efficiency and sound quality compared to traditional dual-inlet mufflers. Built from premium T-304 stainless steel, the 100% welded case offers superior corrosion resistance and long-term structural integrity.
The muffler utilizes a straight-through, free-flow design packed with high-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) for precise acoustic control without restricting power. The un-notched necks are designed specifically for weld-in installation; if clamping is preferred, 3-inch wide band clamps (Borla PN 18004) are required. The reversible case design allows for maximum installation flexibility in tight chassis environments.
