The Borla ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics) Axle-Back exhaust system is engineered for Camaro owners seeking the highest available decibel levels in Borla's street-legal lineup without sacrificing sound clarity. Unlike generic loud exhausts that often suffer from distortion or drone, ATAK technology uses vehicle-specific internal muffler cores. These cores are tuned like a graphic equalizer to shape and focus sound waves, providing an aggressive, high-volume exhaust note throughout the entire RPM range.
As an axle-back (rear section) system, this unit replaces the restrictive factory rear mufflers while retaining the stock front muffler and mid-section. For enthusiasts looking to further increase performance and sound, this system can be upgraded to a full cat-back configuration by adding the Borla X-Pipe with Mid-Pipes (PN 60512).
