The Borla ATAK (Abusive Tongue and Cheek) Cat-Back exhaust system is specifically engineered to maximize the acoustic profile and exhaust velocity of the 6.2L Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. This system is designed for enthusiasts seeking the highest decibel level in the Borla lineup while maintaining a crisp, performance-oriented tone without distortion. It features integrated NPP valves to retain the factory dual-mode exhaust functionality.
Built for durability and flow, this system is constructed from premium T-304 stainless steel, which offers superior corrosion resistance compared to 400-series aluminized steel. The 140727 kit includes a specialized Merge X-Pipe for balanced exhaust scavenging and ultra-smooth mandrel-bent tubing to minimize backpressure. The system is finished with quad 4-inch polished T-304 stainless steel tips for a refined aesthetic.
Note: Installation requires cutting the factory O.E. exhaust system. This specific configuration is not recommended for use on convertible models.
