Designed for universal 3-inch exhaust systems and custom applications, the Borla CrateMuffler Resonator (MPN: 400939) offers precise sound tuning without sacrificing flow. This compact, reversible bottle-style resonator is engineered to attenuate overall sound pressure levels (SPL) by approximately 2-3 dB(A). It is the ideal solution for users wanting to transition a Borla S-Type CrateMuffler setup to a more subtle Touring sound level, or for any high-performance build where space is at a premium.
Built from high-grade T-304 austenitic stainless steel, this resonator features a straight-through design that maintains maximum exhaust velocity. The 100% welded construction ensures structural integrity, while the high-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material provides long-lasting sound control. The natural mill finish allows for custom brushing or polishing to match your vehicle's underside.
