The Borla S-Type Specialty Muffler (401664) is a universal, reversible performance muffler engineered for truck and SUV applications that require a long-body design for superior sound control. This muffler provides the signature S-Type exhaust note, offering a deep, aggressive tone while maintaining a high-flow internal architecture for improved performance.
Built for durability, this muffler is constructed from 100% welded T-304 austenitic stainless steel to prevent corrosion. The un-notched necks are specifically designed for a secure weld-in installation. Internally, Borla utilizes high-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material to manage sound levels and prevent packing blowout over time.
