Engineered as a critical upgrade for high-performance builds, the Boundary Billet Crankshaft Timing Sprocket replaces the factory powdered-metal component. In high-RPM or boosted applications where increased valve spring pressure puts additional stress on the valvetrain, the OE sprocket is a known failure point. This billet version is precision-machined to offer superior tensile strength, preventing sprocket fracture and keyway shearing to maintain precise engine timing.
