The Boundary Grip Series Billet Crankshaft Timing Sprocket is a critical upgrade for high-performance Ford Coyote builds. Standard powdered-metal gears are a known failure point in high-RPM and forced induction applications. This sprocket is CNC-machined from high-strength billet steel to provide the structural integrity required for racing and high-boost environments.
To prevent timing shift or gear slippage on the crankshaft snout, this Grip Series gear features Boundary’s High Friction Surface (HFS) technology. This specialized treatment significantly increases the coefficient of friction on the mating surfaces, ensuring the gear stays locked in place even under extreme torsional loads. This is a direct-fit replacement for the factory timing drive gear.
