Maintaining proper steering geometry is critical when modifying the suspension on heavy-duty trucks. When the front of a Ford Super Duty is lifted 2.5 inches, the factory caster is reduced by approximately 1°. These Carli Suspension 2° caster shims are engineered specifically for 2.5-inch lift systems to correct this geometry. By installing these shims, you not only restore the lost caster but increase it by 1° beyond the original factory specification. This additional positive caster is vital for ensuring stable straight-line tracking and improved steering return-to-center when running larger aftermarket tires.
