Clevite BiMetal engine bearings are engineered to meet the demands of OE-level engine rebuilds while providing enhanced durability over standard replacements. These connecting rod bearings are manufactured from a 100% lead-free aluminum silicon alloy. By incorporating 60% more silicon than comparable aftermarket bearings, the BiMetal series provides superior conditioning of the crankshaft journal surfaces, resulting in significantly higher seizure resistance and long-term wear protection.
